About

Abby Kay Gauthier

I remember wanting to become a therapist at the age of 19, discovering the helping profession of Social Work for the first time. Over the last 16 years, I have worked in many helping roles both in clinical and in therapeutic capacities. I love what I do; what a gift to bear witness to the deepest most intimate parts of a person’s life and to hold space so that the healing can begin to unfold.

Aside from being a therapist, I love spending my time with my family, being out in nature, practicing yoga and creating pottery.

about page picture.jpg

I acknowledge that the land on which we work are the traditional lands of Treaty One territory, the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene and homeland of the Metis Nation, with our water sourced from Shoal Lake #40. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in the spirit of reconciliation.
